Pastor Sally comes to Salem and Bethany United Methodist Churches

filled with faith, hope, and love: faith in the triune creator God

of John 1:1-5; hope in the timeless God of compassion in Jeremiah 29:11; &

love for the teaching God who shows us how to love in Micah 6:8.

With husband Ron, head of the Business Department at Wor-Wic Community College,

Pastor Sally has 3 sons, 3 daughters-in-law & one grandson:

Terry, Shannon & Cort live in South Carolina; Tim & Margie live in Texas; Ken & Kara live in Salisbury. Her 80 year-old Mom

is in hospice care in North Carolina & her 93 year old father-in-law resides in assisted living in Salisbury.

In her 25 year social work career, Pastor Sally served preschoolers,

the elderly, job seekers, single parents, domestic violence & sexual assault victims,

troubled youth & families. A lay speaker, MYF Coordinator, Finance & Staff Parish Chairs,

she served on the Board of Ordained Ministry.  She has ministered 6 & a half years

at St. Andrew’s in Salisbury, is a member of the Pen-Del Conference CARE Team

& the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women Sexual Ethics Team.

She leads Sexual  Ethics  & Safe Sanctuaries Training for clergy & laity in the conference.

 

Pastor Sally holds degrees from Muhlenberg College, the University of Maryland School of

Social Work, & Wesley Theological Seminary. She is currently enrolled as a Doctorate in

Ministry student at Wesley & will be ordained an elder in the United Methodist Church on June 13th.
