The Committee on Lay-leadership is to identify, develop, evaluate, and monitor Christian leadership within the congregation.  It is to present to the charge conference each year the names of persons who are to serve as officers and leaders within the local church. Membership of the committee is limited to no more than nine members, (not including the pastor and the lay-leader) elected by the charge conference upon nomination from the floor of the conference.
