"Make a Blanket Day" at Robinanne's Quilt Shop, Market Street. Be a
Blanketeer on Project Linus Day and make a blanket for a child in
crisis. Bring a bag lunch (ladies of the church will provide
drinks and dessert), your sewing machine (if you can), and
scissors. Non-sewers can cut fabric and tie quilts
together. Crocheters and knitters are welcome. Some donated
yarn will be available. Donated fabrics will be available.
Come and bring a friend. We always need donations of the
following items: cash, fleece fabrics 1 yard or more in piece,
polyester quilt batting packaged or by the yard, sewing needles,
embroidery floss any color, 4 ply knitting yarn any color, postage, and
blue masking tape. |
