Fall Retreat, open to all youth groups.  The Dover District is sponsoring a fall retreat but all youth groups are invited regardless of your district, denomination, or geography.  The weekend event will be held at Camp Pecometh and the guest speaker will be Eric Keller.  Eric is the Pastor of Student Ministries at Washington Crossing UMC in Bucks County, PA.  He is a dynamic speaker who has a large youth group every Thursday night called, "Oxygen."  For more information check out www.go2oxygen.com.  Steve Lamotte, youth minister of Avenue UMC in Milford, DE is coordinating this excellent event.  For more details and to register your youth group be sure to contact Steve.

9:00am to 4:00pm - Make A Blanket Day at Salem.  Be a blanketeer on Project Linus Day and make a blanket for a child in crisis.  Project Linus needs more blankets for Hurricane Katrina victims.  11,000 blankets have been requested and 5,000 have been sent - including 112 from Pocomoke.  See Donna Clarke for details.  We will be meeting here at Salem to make more blankets.  Please bring a bag lunch (ladies of the church will provide drinks and desserts), your sewing machine (if you can), and scissors.  Non-sewers can cut fabric and tie quilts together.  Crocheters and knitters are welcome.  Some donated yarn will be available.  Donated fabrics will be available.  Come & bring a friend.  All are welcome!
