ASP Week.  ASP Mission Statement: The Appalachia Service Project is a Christian ministry open to all people that addresses the housing needs of the Central Appalachia.  Be a part of the first ASP team from Salem UMC.  We are participating this summer and are looking for five dedicated teens to join our team.  We are only taking one team this year; meaning the first five kids to commit are the members of the team.  Don't Hesitate!!  Mary and John Chamberlain will be accompanying our team as the adult volunteers this week.  If you think you might be interested in joining us for this invaluable experience please contact John or Mary.  Teens must have completed 8th grade to be eligible to participate.  "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control." -- Galatians 5:22-23.  Check out ASP's website at www.asphome.org.
